Namibia 10 Day Safari

Namibia Is a beautiful country with so much to offer. One has to experience it to appreciate. Our Namibia 10 Day Safari takes your experience across this vast land. The itinerary is as follows:

Day 1

Your Guide will meet you and pick you up at Windhoek International Airport (Hosea Kutako). You will be taken to your Lodge where you can relax. At dinner your guide will go through your itinerary and give you a short briefing on your tour ahead. Overnight in Windhoek.

Day 2 - 3

We will be traveling South West down to the famous Sossusvlei area. Spending two nights hear exploring the ancient dunes and spectacular landscape this will include an early morning trip into the Dead Vlei.

Day 4

We leave Sossusvlei for the well-known and unique coastal town of Swakopmund. Swakopmund is an old town with fantastic German restaurants and historic buildings. It’s a great place to do a bit of shopping and pampering before we head off North. Swakopmund is known for it's sky diving. (great option for the more adventurous please notify your guide to ensure you reach Swakopmund early enough to jump)

Day 5 - 6

Depart from Swakopmund into yet more breath taking Namibian beauty, Damaraland home to the Herero and Damara tribes. This is a easy journey up to Madisa Camp. Along the way we will stop off at Cape Cross to have a look at the huge seal colonies. Spending two nights in Damaraland will hopefully give us a chance to see the majestic desert elephants and a few other interesting sights.

Day 7

After a hearty breakfast we'll go through to Twyfelfontein to see some of the ancient attractions in the area such as the bushman engravings, organ pipes and burnt mountain. After a bit of sight seeing we head north to Etosha National Park. Over night at Okaukuejo Rest Camp.

Day 8

A early start after some tea/coffee and rusks we out the gate to look for some carnivores and enjoy the sunrise over the enchanting Etosha pans. We will have brunch at one of the picnic spots and then carry on up to Namutoni Rest Camp a very historical camp and great place to just relax. There is a waterhole here which has animals drifting in and out all though the day and night. Namutoni has large packs of hyena and prides of lions.

Day 9

Leaving Etosha behind us and head down to Okonjima Home to the Africat Foundation. What a experience!

Day 10

It is time to say farewell to friends made and to an experience of a life-time. With a little seed of Africa planted in you heart, smile, bid farewell and begin planning your next adventure to Africa.
