Namibia

Citizens from the following countries are exempted from visa requirements if they are entering Namibia as bona fide tourists and they meet the minimum requirements stipulated below:

Angola, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau (SAR), Malawi, Malaysia, Mozambique, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Republic of South Africa, Russian Federation, Commonwealth of Independent States of the former USSR, Singapore, Spain, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, United Kingdom, United States of America, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Minimum requirements for tourists entering Namibia, that don’t need a visa:

  • To be in possession of a valid passport which is valid for at least 6 months beyond intended departure date from Namibia.
  • To be in possession of valid return / onward air ticket or proof of other means of transportation enabling him to leave Namibia.
  • Entry into Namibia will be permitted for a maximum period of 90 days, (extension possible on application to The Ministry of Home Affairs during stay in Namibia.)

Botswana

Please see below for countries that do not require a visa to enter Botswana.  You will be issued with a visitor’s visa at the border (maximum stay 90 days).

For countries that are not listed above, please apply well ahead of your visit and please check with your tour planner if you are entering a country more than once in order to request a multiple entry visa.

South Africa

Please see below for countries that do not require a visa to enter South Africa.  You will be issued with a visitor’s visa at the border (maximum stay 90 days).


African Union Laissez Passer, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Chile (only ordinary passport holders), Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany (except in diplomatic staff due to assume duty at the Embassy and Consulates of Germany in SA), Greece , Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malta, Monaco, Namibia (90 days per annum)(only ordinary passport holders), Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay​, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Sweden, Switzerland , Tanzania (90 days per year), Trinidad & Tobago (only ordinary passport holders), United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (only ordinary passport holders), British Islands Bailiwick of Guernsey and Jersey, Isle of Man. British Oversees Territories namely: Anguilla, Bermuda, British Antarctic Territory, British Indian Ocean Territory, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, St Helena and Dependencies (Ascension Island, Gough Island and Tristan da Cunha), Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno Islands, the Sovereign Base Areas of Cyprus South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands and the Turks and Caicos Island. Zambia and Zimbabwe

There are a few nationalities that will require to pre arrange their entry visa to Namibia and Botswana.  Please note that if this visa is required, it will need to be a multiple entry visa and not a single entry visa.  Please check on booking this safari if you need a pre-arranged visa.

The KAZA UNIVISA is a common tourist visa for the SADC region which shall be piloted by Zambia and Zimbabwe for six (6) months.
The UNIVISA will be issued at a standard fee of US$50, cash will be required.
Validity – the KAZA UNIVISA will be valid for 30 days as long as you remain in Zimbabwe and Zambia and clients can cross into Zimbabwe/Zambia as frequently as they like within the 30 day period.
It also covers those who visit Botswana for day trips through the Kazangula Borders – it will not be valid if staying in Botswana overnight, in this case you would need to purchase a new Visa. The UNIVISA cannot be extended however you can buy a new UNIVISA (up to 3 per year).

Citizens from the countries listed below shall be eligible for the KAZA UNIVISA obtainable at the eight ports of entry as stated.

Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Rwanda, Slovakia Republic, Slovenia Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, Uruguay, USA.

Please note:

It is the responsibility of clients to ensure that passports, visas or other travel documents are valid for the duration of their stay in Namibia, Botswana, South Africa and other areas included in tours, and the company will entertain no complaints related to invalid travel documentation. In the event that a client does not possess the necessary documentation to enter an area or country on the tour, the company reserves the right to request the client to disembark from the tour at the point of entry to such areas or countries. Should such a case ensue, the company will not be liable for providing further travel arrangements.
