WWS – Personalized safaris through Namibia, Botswana and South Africa.

Always be well informed about where you going, what you will need to get there and when is the best time to be there.

When we help plan your safari we are always suggesting the most Eco-friendly places and methods in which to travel. Africa has many quirks and a huge variety of cultures, wildlife and landscapes all which need to be treated with the utmost respect. We have a motto which goes "leave only your foot prints". Always think about the future!

*Weather & Season

Game-viewing tends to be at its best during the dry season (May - September). Water is extremely limited so animals are drawn to the few water holes available. During this season, fascinating game-viewing is almost guaranteed. The temperatures can be quite hot, but nights cool down nicely.

Game-viewing during the wetter seasons (September - April) is still phenomenal. Sightings may not be quite as common during these months, but the bird-life is abundant and babies are born. The rainy season does not mean constant rain all day long. Instead, southern African rainy seasons are characterized by warm days and cooler nights (but still comfortable) and normally a predictable thunderstorm in the afternoon. Apart from this period, the sun is usually shining.

Keep in mind that Africa's seasons are reversed from the winter/summer of the northern hemisphere so that the coldest months are June and July and the hottest are November and December.
